A POP-UP OUTDOOR FOOD MARKET IN THE HEART OF HACKNEY

The Long Table is all about conviviality and bringing people together. Grounded in the importance of local chefs, purveyors and producers, the Long Table celebrates all different types of foods and tastes. As visitors graze the wealth of dishes on offer, they will experience the sense of warmth inherent in a big gathering.

Markets are the heart of many communities, a place where people come together to eat and socialize. East London has a rich cultural diversity and with that comes an interesting mix of foodies, chefs, artists and musicians. We wanted a place that allowed locals to come together through the sharing of food.

Pillow-soft steamed buns, slow roasted belly pork, hoi sin sauce, cucumbers, spring onions & shiracha - quality ingredients from award-winning producers.

The Bowler's mobile meatball mayhem brings a universally loved, culinary delight to street food. Meatballs on the move. The gourmet balls are made from free range British meat and quality ingredients. Serving "Great Balls of Fire" and the "Bjorn Ball" with varying sides.

Moro restaurant lies in the heart of Exmouth Market. Known for its award-winning Moorish cuisine, the restaurant is hugely popular with diners and those who come in to enjoy tapas. Morito is the new addition. Think chestnut and chorizo soup and slow cooked lamb with white beans, chard, paprika and preserved lemon with couscous.

Say no more. These hot dogs genuinely make you feel like you're in the big apple but the quality of the meat is even better. Good ingredients, a choice of toppings a great choice of dogs and even the buns are fluffy and delicious. The greatest dogs in London, all-natural and hand crafted.

Voted the best steak restaurant in London, the Hawkmoor's menu at The Long Table has not yet been announced. We've been told it'll be a "signature" dish with a cocktail from our menu "Shakey Pete's Ginger Brew".

Abbot Street, Dalston E8 3DP

It’s located in a secret disused space on Abbot Street. Just follow the sound of bands playing and the smell of great food.

The night market is covered. Make sure your dressed warmly, big cosy jumpers, scarves and woolly hats. We’ve thought about the cold, we’ve got fire pits but this is still an outdoor event.

The Loft Project is the brainchild of chef Nuno Mendes and his partner Clarise Faria. Originally set up as a temporary supper club and personal test kitchen, the Loft has now become a platform for the next generation of talented chefs to take up residency and showcase their food.

The Long Table shares the Lofts’ passion for food and communal dining and brings to Dalston an array of talented chefs that are doing something unique and creative with the concept of street food.

The Loft Project is moving and it will reopen its doors in April of 2012.
